William (Bill) J. Pulte serves as the CEO of Pulte Capital Partners, a private equity firm focused exclusively on building products. Mr. Pulte serves as Chairman of the Board of Carstin Brands, a Pulte Capital portfolio company and one of the largest kitchen and bath countertop manufacturers in the United States. In his position as Chairman of Carstin Brands, Mr. Pulte oversees Carstin’s employees across 17 states. Prior to starting Pulte Capital Partners, Mr. Pulte worked as an investment professional at two middle market private equity firms.
He is a graduate of Northwestern University and has served as President of the Northwestern University Club of Detroit. In a private-public partnership with Mayor Dave Bing of Detroit, Mr. Pulte founded and serves as Chairman of The Blight Authority of Detroit, a Michigan non-profit corporation focused on neighborhood stabilization through mass trash and debris clearing within Detroit’s 135 square miles. Mr. Pulte has also served on the Northwestern University Alumni Association board and serves on the board of The Community House in Birmingham, Michigan. He has served on a transition committee for Michigan’s Secretary of State.
